If TestFreaks collects your product reviews, Renable can fetch them through the TestFreaks API and use the best quotes and star ratings in your ads. You need two things: your Client ID and an API key.
Step 1: get your credentials from TestFreaks#
TestFreaks credentials aren't self-service — contact your TestFreaks account representative and ask them for your Client ID and an API key for read access to your reviews. [VERIFY: whether TestFreaks now offers self-service API key management.]
Step 2: connect in Renable#
On the catalog's page, open the review-feed settings, choose TestFreaks as the source, and paste the Client ID and API key into their fields. Or simply ask Aimée on the catalog page ("connect our TestFreaks reviews") and paste the two values into the chat — she saves the connection for you.
Either way, Renable validates the connection against the TestFreaks API before saving, and tells you if the credentials don't work — so you never end up with a silently broken review source.
Matching reviews to products#
TestFreaks reviews are matched to your products by product identifiers (Product ID, Item group ID, Brand+MPN, or GTIN, tried in that order). If reviews aren't landing on the products you expect, the usual cause is that the identifiers TestFreaks holds for your products don't match the ones in your product feed — see Connecting a review feed.
