Let Aimée Set Up Your Feed

Instead of configuring a catalog yourself, describe your store to Aimée — give her your store's web address and she finds your product feed, connects it, cleans up the data, and publishes once you approve.

Instead of setting up a catalog yourself, you can just describe your store to Aimée. Give her your store's web address and she'll find your product feed, connect it, clean up the data, and line it up with what ad networks expect — then publish once you approve. Nothing goes live without your say-so.

Start from your store's web address#

The fastest way to get your products into ads is to hand Aimée your store's web address and let her do the setup. Open the Aimée chat from anywhere in the app (see Meet Aimée) and tell her where your store lives — for example, "set up my store at mystore.com."

From there she:

  1. Reads your public store page and works out how your store is built.
  2. Finds a product feed your store publishes and checks that it actually serves products before connecting anything.
  3. Sets up a catalog with that feed connected, so Renable can start importing your products.
  4. Offers to publish, which kicks off the first import — once you approve.

She can then wait for that first import to finish and tell you how many products came through and whether anything needs your attention, so you know the setup worked without watching it yourself.

A few things you can ask Aimée#

You don't need feed or marketing vocabulary — plain language is enough. Some examples of what you can say and what Aimée does:

  • "Set up my store at mystore.com." — She finds your product feed, connects it, and offers to publish so your products start importing.
  • "Point my feed at this address instead." — She sets or corrects the feed your catalog reads, checking it serves products first.
  • "Don't advertise anything that's out of stock." — She adds a rule that drops out-of-stock products so they never reach your ads.
  • "How many products came in?" — She looks up your products and answers directly, no matter which page you're on.

She'll always tell you, in plain words, what she's about to do and what she found — so a setup is never a black box.

What Aimée can set up for you#

Once your feed is connected, Aimée can shape the data flowing through it so your products are ready to advertise — the same work you'd otherwise do by hand in the catalog. She can:

  • Fix wrong or messy values — clean up titles, categories, and other fields across your whole catalog at once.
  • Drop products you can't advertise — out of stock, discontinued, or a category you don't want in ads.
  • Line your feed up with what ad networks expect — so the fields Google, Meta, and TikTok require are filled in.
  • Bring in a second feed — pull in stock levels or extra details from another source and match them to your products.

You don't need to know how any of that works to ask for it. If you're curious about what's happening under the hood, Transforming your feed walks through the catalog workspace, and Joining another feed covers pulling in a second source.

Nothing goes live until you approve#

Aimée never makes your changes go live on her own. Everything she does while setting you up — connecting your feed, cleaning up data, lining things up for ad networks — piles up on your catalog without taking effect, the same way edits you'd make by hand wait until you save them. When she's ready to make them count, she shows you a single approve-or-cancel card right in the chat. Approving is what publishes those changes and sends them to your products — until you do, nothing reaches your ads.

So you can let her do the setup, look over what she's proposing, and only give the go-ahead once it looks right. If you'd rather not publish yet, cancel and your live ads stay exactly as they were.

FAQ#

Do I need to understand feeds, XML, or mapping to do this?

No. That's the point of asking Aimée — you describe your store and what you want in everyday language, and she handles the feed mechanics. If you'd like to learn the concepts anyway, the Catalogs guides cover them.

What if Aimée can't find my product feed automatically?

Paste the feed's web address into the chat and she'll connect that instead, after checking it serves products. If you're not sure where your feed lives, whoever set up your online store — or your store platform's support — can point you to it.

Will she change my live ads while setting this up?

No. Nothing reaches your ads until you approve the publish. Aimée shows you an approve-or-cancel card first, so you're always the one who decides when a change goes live.

I already have a catalog connected — can she still help?

Yes. Aimée can set or fix the feed address on an existing catalog and clean up its data the same way, then publish once you approve.
