Every time Renable does AI or rendering work on your behalf — writing ad copy, processing an image, rendering a template — it spends credits. Credits are an in-app usage budget, not a currency: they don't map to a dollar amount, and you can't buy them individually. Your subscription plan sets how many you get.
Two limits, both enforced#
Your plan gives you two credit limits that apply at the same time:
- A monthly limit — your overall budget for the billing period.
- A daily limit — a smaller cap that prevents a single day's activity from burning through your whole month.
An action only goes ahead if you have headroom under both limits. If you hit your daily limit, processing pauses until the next day even if you still have monthly credits left — and vice versa.
Your limits are the ones your plan lists, in every billing period — there's no separate starter allowance, so the first month's import and enrichment wave draws on the same budget as every month after it. If your plan's budget won't cover your catalogue, upgrade rather than waiting it out.
When your budget resets#
Your credit budget resets at the start of each billing period — and your billing period runs from the day your subscription started, not from the 1st of the calendar month. If you subscribed on the 14th, your credits reset on the 14th of each following month.
Your credit period counts from the day you completed checkout — that is when your subscription starts, and your free trial is its first period. Your card is first charged later, when the trial ends 30 days after that. So the two dates are normally different: your credits reset on the checkout day of each month, and your first invoice lands 30 days after checkout, which is the same day of the month only when that month happens to have 30 days. Don't expect the reset and the charge to arrive together.
There's no self-serve way to top up credits mid-period. If you run out before your next reset, your options are to upgrade your plan (which grants more credits immediately) or wait for the next period. See what happens when you run out of credits for the details.
Where to see your balance#
Your current usage and remaining balance are always visible in-app rather than something you need to calculate:
- The Billing page shows a credit usage graph, broken down by day and by what the credits were spent on.
- The Prompt workbench's Generate preview shows your estimated cost for a specific prompt run alongside your remaining balance before you commit to it — see what consumes credits.
