Signing up starts a 30-day free trial of the 500 feed items plan. You enter a card at signup, nothing is charged while the trial runs, and on day 31 your card is charged and the plan continues — unless you switch to the Free plan or cancel before then.
Starting the trial#
The third step of signing up is a card form, run by Stripe, right on the signup page — enter your card there and the trial starts the moment it is accepted. The card is required: it's what lets the trial roll into a subscription on day 31 without you having to do anything. Nothing is charged during the 30 days.
Your 30 days start the moment you sign up — not when you connect your first feed — so it's worth working through the first-run setup while you're here. Connecting a product feed early is what gives you real products to evaluate with.
One trial per person#
The free trial is one per person, not one per organization. If you've already started a trial or a subscription on an organization you created, a new organization you create doesn't get a second one: the signup page's third step becomes Start your subscription instead — pick a plan and monthly or annual billing, add your card, and the new organization starts on that plan straight away, with the first period charged that day. Being invited into someone else's organization doesn't count — an agency employee can still start a trial on their own.
What the trial includes#
The trial is the 500 feed items plan: the same limits on feed items, catalogs, channels and credits, and the same features. There is no smaller, separate trial allowance and nothing is held back — every part of Renable is available from day one, within that plan's limits.
The Billing page shows the plan you're on and the date your trial ends, and the plan picker there lists each plan's exact limits. See plans and limits for how each limit behaves.
Before the trial ends#
Stripe emails the address you entered at checkout 7 days before your trial ends, with a link you can use to cancel if you don't want to continue. You can check the end date on the Billing page at any time.
Upgrading during the trial#
If you outgrow the 500 feed items plan while you're evaluating — most often on feed items, since one product sold through three catalogs counts as three — switch to a larger plan from the Billing page. Switching during the trial ends the trial: the new plan takes effect right away and your card is charged its price that day — you've decided, and the plan is yours from then on. Day 31: the plan continues#
When the trial ends, your card is charged the plan's monthly price — or its yearly price if you switched to annual billing — and the plan simply carries on. Nothing changes in your account: catalogs keep importing, channels keep publishing, and your credit budget resets for the new billing period. You don't have to do anything.
If you don't want to be charged#
There are two ways out, both on the Billing page, and both have to be done before day 31:
Switch to the Free plan. Free is the smallest plan, and it costs nothing, ever — see /billing/plans for exactly what it includes. The switch takes effect on day 31, so you keep the trial's plan until then and your card is never charged. From day 31 your catalogs keep running under Free's much lower feed item limit: each import fills up to the limit and the rest is left out, with a warning in the catalog's Notes and events saying how many it managed to import. You can't sign up on Free: it is open to organizations that have had a paid plan or the trial before, running or ended, and each person can have one organization on Free.
Cancel. Cancelling also takes effect on day 31: you keep everything until then and your card is never charged. After that, Renable stops working on your products — feed imports stop, and AI enrichment and rendering stop.
Within a day of cancelling taking effect, your channels are also emptied — the feed files stay at the same addresses, but they stop listing products, so anything running against them stops. This is deliberate: a feed that quietly goes stale is worse than one that visibly stops.
Subscribe within 30 days and everything comes back as it was — your catalogs, products, templates, channels, and settings are all still there, and choosing a plan starts them up again on the same data. To subscribe again, pick a plan on the plans page (See plans on the Billing page) and add your card in the checkout panel that opens beside the plan ladder; the subscription starts the moment the card is accepted. After 30 days your products are cleared out and rebuilt from your feed the next time it imports; your catalogs, templates, and channel setup are never removed.
If your card is declined on day 31#
Stripe retries the payment over the following days. Your account keeps working while it does, and the Billing page shows a warning asking you to update your card — you do that under Invoices and payment, which takes you to Stripe's portal. See invoices and payment.
If the retries don't succeed in the end, the subscription ends, and what happens next is the same as cancelling above — including the 30-day window in which subscribing brings everything back.
