What happens when I run out of credits

Running out of credits pauses new AI and rendering work until your next billing period or an upgrade — nothing breaks, and you're notified both in-app and by email.

Updated July 1, 2026

If you use up your monthly or daily credit budget, Renable doesn't break or lose data — it simply pauses the work that costs credits until you have budget again.

What pauses#

Once you're out of credits, new AI and rendering work stops:

  • New products stop getting AI-processed — no new ad copy, no new image processing, no new review extraction.
  • Templates stop re-rendering, so new or changed products won't get fresh images or videos.

Channels already live keep publishing, and keep prices and stock up to date — feed export itself isn't credit-gated. Only the AI and rendering steps that produce new content pause.

You'll be notified#

When your organization runs out of credits, Renable notifies you both in-app and by email so nobody is left guessing why processing has stalled.

Getting back to work#

You have two options:

  1. Upgrade your plan. This grants more credits immediately — processing resumes right away. See manage your subscription.
  2. Wait for your next billing period. Your credit budget resets automatically at each period rollover. See how credits work for when that is.

Reducing usage#

If you're running close to your limit regularly, a few habits help:

  • Scope prompts narrowly (a specific product set or catalog) rather than running them across everything, and check the Generate preview cost estimate before rolling one out broadly.
  • Avoid unnecessary template changes that trigger a full re-render across every size and product.
  • Review your plan's limits — if you're consistently hitting the ceiling, a higher plan may be the more sustainable fix.
